STONE SHEEP RAFFLE
This is a classic 15 day horseback hunt for a Stone Sheep Ram. This will be a limited entry raffle! This
hunt is provided by Larry & Lori Warren of Tuchodi River Outfitters. The dates of the hunt are scheduled
for August 29th to September 13th 2008. The cost of hunting a Stone Sheep continues to increase as
the quotas of tags are being reduced. The Tuchodi River area has a good population of sheep and
Tuchodi River Outfitters maintain a high success rate on harvesting mature Rams. The hunts includes 1
on 1 guide service and most of the hunting will be conducted from one or more of the many spike camps
in Larry’s area. Hunting from horseback allows the party to cover more in ground in search of a trophy
Ram. The hunter is responsible for transportation to and from Fort Nelson, B.C. as well as the air charter
to base camp ($600). The hunter is also responsible for all licenses and tags as well as the GST taxes
and the non resident preservation fund. License and tag fees are available on their website. Additional
animals are available on a trophy basis and include: Elk, Moose and Mountain Goat. ($2,700 each plus
tags). Non-hunters are welcome at @250 per day. Donated by: Larry & Lori Warren of Tuchodi River
