Richard Ziminski and Jim Davis did a self guided Hunting / Fishing trip at Prince of Wales Island in May,
2007. Rich caught several small halibut and Jim caught a 200 pounder. This feat took over 45 minutes to
surface the fish before harpooning and shooting it. It took another hour to get it in the skiff. Jim also
harvested a bear and Rich saw a ver large bear, but could not connect. Rich and Jim harvested a lot of
Dungeness Crab.
