Your Eastern Chapter Board is proud to announce that 2007 will go down as one of our top three
years with revenue for our Grant-In-Aid funding. This happened even though we had a major snow
and ice storm to contend with, one that kept hundreds of people from making it to the Convention.
Some of the local roads were closed for up to 4 days. We announced last year that we had made
several internal cost saving moves and this certainly shows in this year’s GIA funding! We have
awarded $74,700. in regular grants and $100,650. in state and international grants for a grand total
of $175,350.
Dale Gaugler, GIA Chair
